Our plans

The plans of our Center are directed towards further integration of the young people we have already been helping. Our goals are modest, real and concrete. We implement all our activities “step by step”, carefully but courageously, by trying to provide our “Little Stars” with what they need now.

Divna

Divna, in the next few months, will need:

a financial scholarship that will allow her to pay the basic costs of accommodation and food during classes beginning October 2014 (it is difficult for freshmen to get a scholarship from the state or local programs, the scholarship contest is open to students from the second year of study) a computer (which she has never had and is necssary for studying).

Aleksandar

Alexander needs:

Since he is a professional rugby coach, it would be great if he had a chance to get a scholarship and the opportunity to improve his knowledge somewhere abroad (in our country, the sport is still in its infancy)

housing solutions - support for rent because at the end of the year (December 31, 2014) Aleksandar will be out of the social welfare system and begin an independent life. He spent almost his entire life (from 9 years old) in the orphanage, and this time transition will be very difficult without any support. There is no inheritance or someone to care for him after leaving the social welfare system.

Goran

Goran needs:

money for the restoration of his house which was completely destroyed in the flood, as well as household items and basic appliances that the water completely destroyed. Goran inherited his house from his grandmother in Petrovac and this is the only home he has. Twice, in just the past few years, this modest home has been completely destroyed by floods. Everything he had was destroyed, from furniture and clothes, to household appliances. Now it is no longer a place where he can live.

Although during the school year, Goran is housed in a dormitory in Belgrade. Free time, holidays, and vacations he spends at his home in Petrovac. If he doesn’t get help, it will not be possible for him to live in his home in Petrovac.

Igor

Igor needs:

a financial scholarship that will allow him to pay the basic costs of accommodation and food during classes beginning October 2014 (it is difficult for freshmen to get a scholarship from the state or local programs, the scholarship contest is open to students from the second year of study) money for a detailed medical examination and treatment of severe asthma, which make it difficult for him to move around and do serious physical activity.
